Market Firm Early Friday as Wheat Finally Joins Bullish Action
September corn is up 6 1/2 cents and August soybeans are up 13 1/4 cents.
December corn is up 7 cents and November soybeans are up 14 cents. September KC
wheat is up 12 1/2 cents, September Chicago wheat is up 9 3/4 cents, and
September MIAX Minneapolis wheat is up 2 3/4 cents.

EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: September corn is up 6 1/2 cents and
August soybeans are up 13 1/4 cents. December corn is up 7 cents and November
soybeans are up 14 cents. September KC wheat is up 12 1/2 cents, September
Chicago wheat is up 9 3/4 cents, and September MIAX Minneapolis wheat is up 2
3/4 cents.
CME GLOBEX RECAP: Row crops are recovering thus far Friday from a mixed
Thursday session which saw corn futures struggle to break from the slipping
wheat market, the latter which is attempting to end a frustrating trading week
on a high note. Meanwhile, soybean futures have surged again on overnight trade
with soybean oil futures leading the way. Meanwhile, energy markets are firm to
begin Friday after the European Union announced a fresh round of sanctions
targeting the Russian oil industry. In reports for Friday, the CFTC will
release its Commitment of Traders report at 2:30 p.m. CDT which will offer
insights into how traders were positioned across Ag futures as of Tuesday, July
15.
OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Thursday showed the Dow Jones Industrial
Average up 229.71 at 44,484.49 and the S&P 500 Index up 33.66 at 6,297.36. The
10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.46%. Early Friday, September Dow Jones
futures are up 8 points. European markets are mixed to mostly higher with the
spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading down 0.04%, spot futures of
Germany's DAX trading up 0.03% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading
up 0.24%. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 index down 0.21% and
China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.50%.
